Chatham is located in north Kent some 28 miles east of central London and 9 miles north of Maidstone.

The town benefits from close proximity to M2 and access onto the motorway network. Chatham together with Rochester Gillingham & Strood are built around the confluence of the Rivers Medway & Thames.

The site is some 3 miles north of Junctions 3 & 4 M2.
